What can compare...
We loved the openness of Casa Maria. We all enjoyed the house so much! I especially liked the outside concrete benches, tile table and roof-top circular bench. What a surprise! Ice, cool water, lovely cuisinart pans and every impliment imaginable for cooking! Monday, Wednesday and Friday's - Fresh vegetable and fruit trucks come by, kayaks life jackets, soft beds and I got lost in the pillows of the yellow couch! Carlos was so eager to offer information and help of any kind. his knowledge of the world and also local people and landmarks made our stay so much more interesting! We were definately spoiled!

Wow! We had a great trip!! Everything went wonderfully. The house was immaculate, weather pretty good (some days were rainy, but that didn't stop us!) and everyone had a great time. Carlos was great, gave us lots of good info and even accompanied Mike and I to town to get supplies and beer one day, as our spanish isn't the best. The kids couldn't be kept out of the water and we used up every bit of sunscreen!

Casa Maria and the surrounding area are beautiful. We enjoyed hanging out at the house and doing nothing at all as well as driving around and touring some of the area's villages and ruins. We spent an afternoon at the Chacchoben ruins and got a tour from one of the local Chaccoben town residents.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Maria. It is a beautiful home and location. We loved that you have purified water from the refrigerator and good wireless internet. Beds were very comfortable and the soaps in the bath were a special touch. We very much appreciated that you had overhead fans everywhere. We had dinner one evening at the Mayan Garden Hotel and enjoyed the food and talking to the owners who were very welcoming. It is a great asset that there is a place to get a good meal close to your home. We went scuba diving a couple of days and thought that the diving was good. Your directions for finding your home were clear and very helpful. The sign at the turnoff was also helpful.

What a beautiful, spacious, ocean front home! It was just perfect for our two families to enjoy our stay together. We loved having the kayaks and snorkel gear right there at the house to enjoy. We also loved the six outdoor patios and scenic roof top party deck where you could get away on your own to read a book or just relax and enjoy the amazing scenery!! What a great memorable vacation!!

We had a wonderful time at your place. Although the internet was down it was fine, we understand that it was down for everyone in that area.

My husband and the other guests of the house all work for the US Government at the consulate in Merida, so they changed and added some info to your book regarding lost passports and other american citizen services. That is actually why we all came to Majahual, to do outreach for Americans.
